HATE THAT BAND, LOL

Yo, deviantarters :)

I was watching some music videos on Youtube, and well...pure musical drama, "i love this" ,"i hate that", etc.

Seems like the mainstream bands are the most hated ones, paradoxically. Maybe not in number, but with "arguments" and so on.

SooooOoOoOoOoOoOo well, I wanted to ask you: What is your most disliked/hated band?. Batter said: What band do you hate the most? XD

The question is always "whats your fav band?" etc. Now, lets ask the negative version.

So, tell me your lovely hated bands :) If you have arguments to hate them (which I think you have), tell me too. I think it will be really interesting, and constructive in some way. Not only an acid rant telling this and that.

HMM. Hated bands. LESSE.

Uuh I have a great deal of loathing for Hannah Montana and The Jonas Brothers in particular. Before I had just an average level loathing for their "appeal to the masses" unoriginality and the exploitation of teeny boppers, but extra loathing points are awarded I wake up to them every morning at 6 when my sister has a shower and plugs in her iPod. FUN.

Overexposure to them makes me hate them more. I didn't hate them that much before I got overexposed to the irritating as hell tunes. Makes me rage.

If only I could kill them with my rage.

I hate those bands that are metal, lol. I don't even know why people like them :| the fact that they just scream and create noise >.>
songs like that don't have rhythm, beat or anything ._.

Klaxons, they almost managed to kill me and my boyfriend... 2 times.
We were in Daft Punk/Justice live (electro, heh...) and they played something which sounded like fuckin' metal/hardrock music there (Actually, I love all kind of music, but I DIDN'T WANT TO HEAR THAT DAMNIT ; ;) Even if in studio they're not so bad.... in live... they are. And each time they said "thank you paris", I thought it was finished, but they continued, huhu ; ;)

Then, I almost ended up hating Justice... because we heard them really EVERYWHERE (radio, TV shows, advertisements... and in my MP3. especially D.A.N.C.E. ) but I only got bored, fortunately.

Finally I hate the pillows, because I love them but they sound like they've been recorded in a cellar.

I don't really like metal, but you sound really intolerent to me.

I hate when metal singers sing (no... when they scream. But sometimes, they really sing.), but most metal bands are very skilled.
I don't know if you have ever played to guilty gear, but most of the musics are rock/metal and... damn, guilty gear OST is really, really good... ¦D (But I hate the vocal version, haha... D:)

Anyway, I don't know one song which doesn't have rhythm/beat sooo... I'm kinda curious. <3

well, there are hundred types of metal...doom metal, symphonic metal, death, brutal, black, grindcore, etc etc etc, but not all are just noise/screams. i think you are referring to extreme metal isnt it? things like harsh noise, etc. you dont like them for that specific reason? just for the screams/noise? or because their ideologies etc?

yeaah. But im also kinda referring to those screamo types. Because my friend likes those kinds of bands, and I try to listen to them but I just hear, screams and well, you get the point :XD:

I don't like those types of songs for the noise. But I do read some of the lyrics and I find them good ^^ too bad they played it in that way xD;

Hmmm I see ^^ I haven't played guilty gear too, but I'll try it.
Its not that I dont like metal bands. I like linkin park, their old album specifically :P (if they are considered metal xD;; ) because their songs have rhythm, beat, etc.

There are just some bands that people like, that I don't get why they like them. Like those bands that make songs that you really can't understand, you just hear screams, growls and guitar effects, lol.

as much as I can like any band that plays good music, no matter what kind of music, there is a specific genre I'm quite allergic to and it's gothic metal. By that I mean one random chick pretending she sings in opera voice and one random dude growling in the background. Now there are some gothic metal like bands that I like, I'm just talking about 90% of cliche bands fitting to this description. Same goes for 90% of metal bands, except the ones where I can also hear some melody in music, not only growl.

oh, also I dislike all those bands made up for emo teenagers that rely purely on image and play crap music. Won't mention the names here as I'd probably get slaughtered by fans ;)

i think quite a bit of deathmetal doesn't have a set rythm, it changes alot during one track, and the screaming is hard to understand if you're not used to the music style.

I've never been a big fan of metal (I liked metallica but that was as hard as I liked it) but I recently saw quite a few metal bands live at a festival, and it gave me a whole new look on them. There's still quite alot I don't like in the deathmetal and more extreeme genres, but I'm softening up to the genre in general ^..^

I was defenatly very plesantly surprised by Avenged Sevenfold [link]

Most metal artists are very skilled musicians, the screaming has a tendency to spoil it though.
